The X-SEAL Anchor is a next-generation veneer anchor developed to provide superior performance in air leakage and water penetration prevention. Meeting or exceeding the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Building Code, it is designed to ensure the integrity of metal stud/veneer wall systems. With its advanced features, the X-SEAL Anchor delivers greater strength and durability compared to its predecessors, making it an ideal solution for owners, architects, and masons.

FEATURES

• Enhanced Seal: The X-SEAL Anchor features pronged legs that bridge the sheathing and abut the steel stud, ensuring independent, positive anchorage and preventing compression of the sheathing by positive loads.
• Vapor Barrier: The updated design of the pronged legs effectively seals the wallboard/insulation, maintaining the integrity of the vapor barrier and preventing air and moisture infiltration.
• Rib-Stiffened Legs: The pronged legs are now rib-stiffened and oriented closer together, enhancing the compressive strength by over 20% compared to the previous DW-10-X® Anchor.
• Positive Anchorage: Provides positive anchorage for a long-lasting, durable connection between the wallboard, insulation, and metal studs.
