The Thermal 2-Seal Wing Nut Anchor is an advanced, single screw veneer tie designed for use in steel, concrete, CMU, and wood stud construction. It features a dual-diameter barrel with factory-installed EPDM washers, ensuring a sealed connection to both the face of the insulation and the air/vapor barrier. The anchor includes Thermal Wings, designed to reduce thermal transfer through rigid insulation. These wings are made from steel encapsulated in flame-resistant plastic, providing a thermal break. The Thermal 2-Seal is adaptable for seismic zones and can easily be adjusted for variations in wall thickness.
