The 2X Hook is a high-performance wall pintle designed for anchoring masonry veneer to backup walls during construction. This compressed leg design has been rigorously tested to withstand over 200-lbf in tension or compression at a maximum offset of 1-1/4" (per ACI 530 6.2.2.5.5.4), exceeding BIA recommendations and outperforming standard round wire hooks by over 100%. The 2X Hook offers superior strength and reliability, making it a preferred solution for all wall reinforcement and strengthening applications.

This versatile hook can be installed with the legs pointing up or down, providing flexibility during installation. The 3/16" diameter round wire satisfies the code requirement that the mortar bed thickness must be twice the diameter of the wire.
