STANDARD BACKER ROD

Standard Backer Rod is a non-absorbent, compressible backup material designed to facilitate sealant application and enhance joint performance. It controls sealant depth, creates a reliable backstop for proper tooling, ensures adequate sealant contact with joint surfaces, and promotes a proper bond between the sealant and back-up material. It can also function as a temporary joint seal.
