The Original Pos-I-Tie® (Part No. 75) is a patented two-piece anchoring system designed to secure brick or stone veneer to a variety of structural backups. Introduced in 1985, it was the first barrel screw anchor in the industry and has been trusted for over 35 years. The system penetrates through exterior insulation, makes positive contact with the structural backup to transfer lateral loads, and seals the insulation penetration with an integrated EPDM washer under the barrel head — all without compromising the sheathing.
