SINGLE-COMPONENT WATER-BASED POLYMER WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE FOR CONCRETE AND MASONRY

MEL-ROL LM is a single-component, polymer-modified, cold-applied, water-based liquid waterproofing membrane designed for below-grade vertical seamless waterproofing applications. It incorporates the same high-quality rubber polymers used in W. R. MEADOWS’ MEL-ROL “peel and stick” membrane, converted into a heavy-bodied, high-solids, quick-drying liquid formula. MEL-ROL LM allows for faster installation using either spray or roller application and can be embedded with protection courses, insulation boards, or drainage boards for a complete waterproofing system.

USES

  • New and remedial waterproofing applications on concrete or masonry block substrates
  • Suitable for “green concrete” and insulated concrete forms (ICFs)
  • Ideal for below-grade vertical waterproofing applications

FEATURES 

  • Waterproof with very low vapor permeability (perm rating)
  • Superior elongation bridges minor cracks and remains flexible with age
  • Fully bonded; prevents water from running beneath the membrane
  • High solids, single-component, fast-drying formulation for easy, cost-effective application
  • Cold-applied and water-based; safe for ICFs and protection boards
  • Can be applied to damp or “green concrete”
  • VOC content: 0.0 g/L; produces no harmful odors
  • Easy to apply with roller or airless sprayer; no heating required, eliminating fire hazards

COVERAGE / APPLICATION RATE

  • 20 – 25 ft²/gal (0.49 – 0.61 m²/L) at 60 mils
  • Coverage varies depending on substrate type, weather, and application conditions

SHELF LIFE

  • Store indoors in original, unopened containers at 40° – 90° F (4° – 32° C)
  • Best use within one year from date of manufacture
