PROSOCO Heavy Duty Sock Anchor Grout is a high-strength Portland cement grout formulated for installing structural sock anchors in masonry. When mixed with water, it produces a highly fluid grout capable of flowing through the reinforced mesh sock and filling fine voids within and around the anchor.

The grout hardens without shrinking to create a strong, permanent cementitious connection between the structural anchor and surrounding masonry. Its fluid, pumpable consistency allows it to travel long distances through properly prepared elements using low-pressure application equipment.

Mixing Instructions

Use a maximum of 1.8 gallons (7 liters) of clean water for each 44 lb bag. Pour the required water into the mixing vessel, then slowly add the grout powder while mixing continuously. Keep the mixed grout in a slowly agitating holding tank until placement.

Use the mixed grout within 90 minutes. Ensure enough material is prepared to complete the grouting operation in one continuous placement.

Application Equipment

• High-torque, low-speed drill with grout stirrer for single-bag mixing

• Pressure pot or air- or battery-powered bulk gun for coupled anchors

• Manual bucket pump for individual anchors

• Appropriate PROSOCO sock-anchor filling equipment

Application Conditions

Apply at temperatures between 41°F and 95°F (5–35°C). Contact Customer Care for applications outside this range. Protect the installed grout from freezing for at least 24 hours after placement.
