TIME-SAVING WEEP FOR BRICK VENEERS

Head Joint Weep™ is a quick and efficient solution for ensuring proper drainage in brick veneer installations. Designed to save time and enhance performance, this weep system simplifies the installation process while maintaining optimal functionality.

INSTALLATION

  1. Place Head Joint Weeps as spacers in each head joint of each brick.
  2. Spread a bed joint of mortar on top of the first course of brick.
  3. Tuck-point mortar into the head joint and tool the joint for a clean finish.
  4. Manufacturer Recommendation: Install a drip plate under all flashing over steel lintels and shelf angles for optimal performance.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Material Thickness: 0.24" (0.6 mm) thick acetac.
  • Dimensions: 3/8" (9.5 mm) wide x 3/8" (9.5 mm) high x 4.5" (114.3 mm) long.
