INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Position the rainscreen: Install Fire-Rated Sure Cavity® over the water-resistive barrier with the mortar-blocking fabric facing the installer.

Back-wrap the fabric: Use the 4″ fabric skirt to create a bug screen on the lowest course. Overlap the fabric shingle fashion on subsequent courses.

Align the material: Butt the corrugated material at seams; overlapping is unnecessary. Channel alignment is also not required.

Wrap corners: Extend the rainscreen around corners to the nearest structural member for complete coverage.

Fasten securely: Attach every 24″ on-center using a hammer stapler over nailable surfaces. For masonry walls, use dime-sized dabs of adhesive to hold it in place. Lath or veneer will permanently sandwich the rainscreen.
