EASE OF INSTALLATION
The installation of Feather-Fur™ from Keene Building Products is straightforward and involves securing it over a properly prepared wall with building paper or WRB, ensuring structural soundness, and allowing moisture to escape. Feather-Fur™ is applied over OSB or plywood with approved fasteners onto the WRB. Additional Feather-Fur™ is used behind window and corner trims to provide venting and protection. At the base and top of the wall, Feather-Fur™ serves as a screen for venting and deterring insects, with a second layer applied at the base to ensure proper slope for lap siding. Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.
