Their notched profile accelerates drying and improves overall wall performance, especially when used as part of a full-height CavClear drainage system.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
CavClear Weep Vents are placed in the vertical joints of brick masonry units to promote moisture drainage and cavity ventilation while preventing insects and small animals from entering the wall system. They can be used in new construction or restoration work and perform best when paired with other CavClear air space maintenance products such as Masonry Mat, Stone Mat, or the CavClear Insulation System.
Install weep vents every 24" at all flashing locations, with the notched side down. Do not butter the sides of the masonry units forming the vent space. Simply insert the vent material into the head joint during placement to maintain a clear and functional opening.
