YorkShield 304 SS is a stainless steel termite shield and deck-ledger flashing manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel laminated to a durable cross-woven polymer layer.
The stainless steel provides a long-lasting physical barrier against termites and other insects while resisting corrosion caused by pressure-treated lumber. The polymer layer isolates adjoining galvanized components, seals around fasteners, and must remain attached as an integral part of the flashing.
