Flash-Vent™ SA is a self-adhering drainage-plane flashing manufactured from a flexible 2-mil sheet of Type 304 stainless steel, 10 mils of copolymer butyl adhesive, a siliconized release liner, and drainage fabric laminated to one side.
The integrated drainage fabric provides a pathway for water to drain from the wall cavity while resisting mortar clogging. Its self-adhering butyl backing creates a continuous bond to compatible substrates and eliminates the need for separate mortar-netting material.
