Flash-Vent™ Max is a self-adhering butyl drainage-plane flashing that combines an air- and watertight membrane with an integrated drainage fabric. The membrane limits air and moisture transmission while providing a continuous pathway for water to drain from the wall assembly.
Its aggressive butyl adhesive bonds to common building materials without requiring a primer. A cross-laminated polymer interlayer provides added tear resistance, while the non-clogging drainage fabric actively directs water toward the exterior. Flash-Vent Max is cold applied and requires no special adhesives, heat, or installation equipment.
