WEJ-IT INJECT-TITE™ (AW) ALL-WEATHER ADHESIVE

INJECT-TITE™ AW is a two-component, styrene-free acrylic adhesive designed for anchoring and doweling applications in uncracked concrete using threaded rod and rebar. This all-weather formulation delivers fast cure times, high bond strength, and reliable performance in low-temperature conditions, making it ideal for demanding jobsite environments.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

1. DRILLING AND CLEANING

• Drill hole using a rotary hammer and ANSI B212.15 compliant bit to the specified embedment depth

• Remove standing water prior to cleaning (contact Wej-It if removal is not possible)

• Clean hole using oil-free compressed air (minimum 80 psi) and the appropriate wire brush

• Blow out debris, brush the hole, and blow out again (minimum 4 cycles each)

• Visually inspect to ensure hole is clean before installation

2. CARTRIDGE PREPARATION

• Verify cartridge is within expiration date

• Balance cartridge before attaching mixing nozzle

• Attach correct Wej-It mixing nozzle and dispense until adhesive is uniform gray

• Dispose of initial mixed adhesive prior to injection

• Use a new mixing nozzle with each cartridge

3. INSTALLATION AND CURING

• Fill hole approximately two-thirds full from the bottom up

• Insert threaded rod or rebar while rotating 1–2 turns

• Ensure excess adhesive is visible around the anchor

• Do not torque or load anchor until full cure time has elapsed

• Full cure time is dependent on base material temperature
