MORTAR BELT™ INSTALLATION

• Roll out the Mortar Belt™ and center it on the block wall.
• Hold it in place with a cross web of mortar or a dry masonry unit.
• Place the belt every 4 to 6 courses of block.
• Note: Mortar Belt™ is not recommended for use in masonry unit cells smaller than 5 inches.

MORTAR BELT™ SPECIFICATIONS

• Thickness: 0.024" (0.6 mm)
• Material: High-impact polystyrene
• Corrugations: 3/16" (4.8 mm) deep
• Width: 3 3/8" (85.7 mm)
• Length: 50 ft (15 m) continuous roll
• Purpose: Designed to suspend and trap trash mortar within CMU cells to maintain effective drainage.
