SINGLE WYTHE MOISTURE CONTROL

The Perforated Control Cavity creates a separation between the interior surface of a single-wythe CMU structural wall and the moisture-sensitive materials of the finished interior wall. This system provides a defined drainage path, allowing moisture to travel downward and out of the wall into a drainage field—keeping interiors dry, efficient, and protected.

APPLICATIONS
PERFORATED CONTROL CAVITY INSTALLATION

Install with channel pattern running vertically and fabric facing the interior.

Overlap all edges and ends a minimum of 1".

Overlap horizontal edges shingle fashion (upper sheet laps behind lower sheet).

Cover the entire wall surface from top to bottom.

Mechanically fasten with concrete nails or power fasteners, spacing fasteners 2' on center.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The integrated GreenGuard® Classic Wrap provides air resistance to improve energy efficiency while acting as a breathable water-resistive barrier.
