INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Position Sure Cavity®: Roll out the rainscreen drainage plane with the spunbond fabric facing the installer. Back wrap the 4’’ fabric on the bottom course to act as a bug screen.

Fasten securely: Use a hammer stapler for wood backup walls or adhesive dabs for masonry. To avoid wind damage, only install what can be covered with lath or siding the same day.

Install additional courses: Overlap only the fabric while ensuring the plastic butts directly to the course beneath.

Apply veneer: Attach veneer material to permanently secure the Sure Cavity® rainscreen drainage mat in place.
NOTE: For interior brick veneer retrofit applications, the fabric separates the corrugated plastic from closed-cell spray foam.
