Flash-Vent SA SS is designed with a flexible 2 mil sheet of Type 304 stainless steel, 8 mils of co-polymer butyl adhesive with a siliconized release liner, and drainage fabric laminated to one side. This high-performance flashing material is ideal for cavity wall flashing, stucco, manufactured stone, and thin brick applications. Flash-Vent SA SS comes with a 20-year warranty, providing reliable performance for years to come.

JOINING OF MATERIALS
- Joints shall be made by using York 304 SA and embedding each side of the connecting flashing 2" on this butyl tape. Another option is lapping the flashing a minimum of 6" and coating the contacting surfaces with an approved sealant. Using an interlocking lap per manufacturer’s detail is also acceptable with the use of an approved sealant. All edges must be sealed.
