SOLVENT-BASED ADHESIVE

Driwall™ Membrane Adhesive is a fast-drying solvent release adhesive designed for minimal mixing before application. It is specially formulated to provide outstanding performance with all Keene Driwall Membrane products and is also compatible with most asphalt-based waterproofing membranes.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable for any Driwall Membrane application.

  • Ensure all surfaces are dry and free of oil, grease, dust, dirt, and other contaminants

  • Remove rust and scale if applying over metal

  • Thoroughly mix product before application

  • Best used when substrate temperature is above 40°F

  • Seasonal use recommended; low temperatures and/or high humidity may extend drying time

  • Apply with a medium nap roller or soft bristled brush

  • Allow adhesive to dry a minimum of 10 minutes at 75ºF (23% humidity) before applying Driwall™ Membrane

  • If adhesive dries for more than 2 hours, recoat before applying the membrane

  • Cleans up easily with mineral spirits, paint thinner, or kerosene
