Traditional Z-furring methods violate 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2015 IEC requirements for continuous insulation over exterior sheathing in light-gauge metal-framed walls. The Stand-Off MPV Bracket solves this issue, allowing for proper ventilation, insulation performance, and energy efficiency.

DESCRIPTION
The Stand-Off MPV Bracket is used to attach thin brick veneer systems to buildings that have continuous insulation installed to the exterior of the sheathing. It is adjustable, simple to install and technically fastened the continuous insulation to the building. It is engineered to be spaced at 1’-4” x 4’-0”. 18 ga G90 galvanized hat-channel is attached to Stand-Off MPV Bracket top plates either horizontally or vertically. The thin brick veneer tray is attached to the hat-furring and the thin brick veneer is installed to the tray.

EASY INSTALLATION
- Mark and install Stand-Off MPV Brackets at required spacing.
- Secure the base plate with fasteners.
- Install insulation (rigid, semi-rigid, or spray foam).
- Adjust the top plate to the desired plane.
- Fasten continuous connection hardware.
- Install the rain screen veneer bracket and veneer.
