CAVCLEAR® MASONRY MAT
CavClear® Masonry Mat provides full-height drainage protection behind brick veneer, ensuring a continuous drainage plane throughout the entire cavity. By eliminating mortar bridges, droppings, and obstructions at any point in the wall, it keeps the air space open, protects the weeps, and allows the masonry system to perform as intended. This results in improved thermal efficiency, reduced callbacks, and longer-lasting wall systems with fewer moisture-related failures.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
CavClear Masonry Mat is specified and installed full-height behind brick in masonry veneer and cavity wall systems, both insulated and non-insulated.

Fit sheets horizontally between wall ties

Secure loosely with pintels at the top edge or compatible spot adhesive

Stagger end joints between rows

Do not use nails or staples

Allow ¼"–⅜" tolerance between the mat and the brick
Proper installation ensures the cavity remains open, ventilated, and free-draining.
COMPOSITION
CavClear Masonry Mat is a fluid-conducting, non-absorbent polymer mesh manufactured from recycled plastic. It contributes toward LEED credits for minimum energy performance, optimized energy efficiency, and recycled content.
