Installation Requirements

• Install when the air and surface temperatures are above 40°F.
• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and smooth.
• Structural concrete must cure for at least seven days before installation.
• Do not apply over substrates that have absorbed water.
• Prime metal, concrete, and OSB surfaces and allow the primer to dry completely.
• Apply the membrane from the lowest point upward.
• Overlap horizontal edges in shingle fashion.
• Provide a minimum 2" overlap at adjoining sections and seal laps with an approved sealant.
• Roll the membrane firmly with a hard roller to remove wrinkles and air pockets.
• Seal all terminations, details, and penetrations.
• Reinforcing strips and mechanical fastening are recommended at inside corners, outside corners, window frames, and door frames.
• Do not span gaps measuring 1/4" or greater.
• Cover the membrane within 30 days of installation.
