Consolideck® First Cut is a specialized grinding aid designed to lift and suspend concrete slurry during the grinding process. By clearing slurry from the surface, it allows diamond tooling to maintain better contact with the concrete, improving cutting efficiency and finish quality.

First Cut helps reduce cleanup time between grinding steps, extends the life of diamond tooling, and improves overall productivity. Suitable for both new and existing concrete, it is compatible with subsequent applications of densifiers, dyes, and protective treatments.
